THE FILM

"A wonder film you can just get lost in..."
Perhaps the most beautiful Dolphin Film ever made.
A Meditative, Educational, Visual Feast for kids about Dolphins and the Sea.
What I'm creating is learning through Art
A 50 minute film that is a total immersive (pun intended) experience for Kids of All Ages, of what it is like to actually swim along with these magnificent creatures, the Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins.
With Turtles, Eagle and Manta Rays, Tropical Fish, even Pilot Whales, giving enough time to be aware of how they live, interact with each other, and dance in all their wonder.
With no spoken word, It gives the feeling of going to find the Free Dolphins, (a "Field Trip" if you will), and the Magical Dance that follows.
With a powerful message at the end, it is very much an Instructional/ Meditative/ Environmental Film.
I realize Every Kid in the Whole World needs to see this film.

FUN INFO

The Spinner Dolphin (Stenella longirostris) is famous for its acrobatic displays in which it spins along its longitudinal axis as it leaps through the air. It is a member of the  "Toothed Whales" family.

Spinner Dolphins are common around the tropical areas around the globe. The spinner dolphins of Hawaii live in family groups, but also have associations with others beyond their groups.

Spinner Dolphins are small cetaceans with a slim build. Adults are typically 4.2 - 7.7 feet long (129–235 cm), and reach a body mass of 50-175 pounds, (23–79 kg)

The Spinner Dolphin lives in nearly all tropical and subtropical waters. The species primarily inhabits coastal areas, islands, or banks. Spinner Dolphins may use different habitats depending on the season. The Spinner Dolphins of Hawaii are nocturnal feeders and forage in deep scattering layers, which contain many species.

Gray's or Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins, are from the central Pacific Ocean around Hawaii but represent a mixture of broadly similar subtypes found worldwide.

Because of Global Warming some of the Corals shown in this

film show the effects of "Coral Bleaching". Particularly the Cauliflower Corals which show purple and pink, bright green and white, as they shed their algae . They're beautiful, but if they don't recover, they die.

Climate Change is real, people.  Now is the Time to Act!

Federal, State, and Local Regulations require you must not swim toward Spinner Dolphins within 50 yards, and are strictly adhered to in the making of this Film.

There are licensed tour operations on Oahu and the Big Island of Hawaii that are available for guided swimming tours. They can swim up to you, just not the other way around.
